Material Design Inspired Design System

Tagged is a social dating app. The previous Tagged Android app was really out-of-date, so we did a total redesign of it. My task was to polish the UI with the reference of Material Design, and also create a new UI guideline for Tagged android.  Tagged(Android)

The old primary and secondary profiles were a lot like web profiles. I simplified the hierarchy to a more straight forward list view, so viewers can get more info before first scroll. Also the primary actions were brought out more obvious ( add photo and fill info in primary profile; add friend and chat in secondary profile) to improve important engagement.

After the redesign, I made a UI Kit to guide future design work on Tagged Android.
